 1. Check Your Fuel and Oil Levels: The first thing to do when troubleshooting a tamping rammer is to check the fuel and oil levels. If the fuel tank is low, it can cause the engine to run less efficiently and even stall out. Similarly, if the oil levels are too low, it can cause the engine to overheat and eventually lead to damage. Use fresh engine oil. Old engine oil will cause friction, need to grease it or oil it.

 2. Inspect the Air Filter: The air filter is one of the essential components of gasoline tamping rammer. It prevents dirt and other debris from entering the engine and causing damage. Tamping rammer or ramper engine won't start or stall?

There are several reasons why a jack rammer, or jumping jack compactor may not start. Engine problems are the most common, and the first step is to check the gas and oil to make sure there is plenty of both. Many times there is a low oil level sensor on tamping rammer motor, so if there is not enough oil in fuel tank then the rammer will not start.

Another component to check is the spark plugs. If the recoil starter is pulled multiple times and the engine doesn't start, make sure the spark plugs are dry and working. One way is to unscrew one of the spark plugs and place it in the spark ignition coil. Hold the spark plug against some metal while pulling the recoil starter a few times. If you see sparks, the plug is working properly. If the engine won't start, check the spark plugs. Spark plugs are usually inexpensive and can be found at your local store.

Why does tamping rammer suddenly stop or jam?

Make sure the operator has properly completed the start-up procedure in the operator's manual

Make sure the engine switch is turned to "ON".

Typically, if you leave gasoline in the engine too long, the octane will drop every month, which can lead to stickiness and buildup. Change oil and gas regularly to prevent this from happening. Another cause of the engine shutting down could be a clogged oil filter. Tamping rammers operate in dusty and dirty conditions, the oil filter is usually located between the fuel tank and the carburetor, changing oil filter helps keep the fuel clean. If the engine shuts down, another cause could be due to a clogged ail filter. It is important to replace these frequently. If the filter is clogged, air cannot pass through and the engine will not run. Engine starts but the rammer doesn't run?

Sometimes earth rammer machine engine works fine, but tamping rammer won't start. The rammer works by causing the engine to spin the clutch. When the clutch reaches a certain RPM, tamping rammer will engage and the gears will start, causing tamping rammer to jump. When this happens, the first thing to check is the clutch. If the clutch starts to show signs of damage, replace it immediately.

Replace the connecting rod or crank gear if necessary. Then there is the low engine performance. Loss of compression. Block the exhaust port.

Engine running, tamping rammer running unstable?

Tampering with an oil spill?

Check the bellows to see if the bellows are punctured and need to be replaced. And check the drain plug on the engine, make sure it is properly tightened. Look for the air gap and locate the problem according to the oil leakage.
