Forward Plate Compactor Details
BISON has several different types of plate compactors, but the forward plate compactor is usually the cheapest and can be easily loaded onto a truck by 2-3 people.
Unlike the reversible plate compactor, the forward plate compactor is designed to run in one direction. If the direction needs to be changed, the operator must turn the device completely before proceeding.
Unlike hand-push compactors, which are suitable for compaction of cohesive soil, plate compactors are suitable for granular soil compaction. Granular soil refers to gravel, sand, or soil containing a large amount of aggregated material. The high frequency vibration of the plate compactor helps to eliminate air in the soil. When you are backfilling a trench, building a new way, resurfacing a street, or laying a new bridge deck, BISON compactors will be the best choice.
BISON forward plate compactor adopts environmental protection design, from C50 to C140, this plate compactor series can meet the needs of customers. All plate compactors are also equipped with the accompanying swingable wheel kit and are powered by a Honda GX160 engine. In addition, some models are equipped with a water tank that can be used to compact the asphalt.
